Fortran Graphics
|
The OS9 MIG-Pro graphics library offers ease and flexibility
in creating graphics for the Macintosh using Fortran
programming. MIG-Pro supports development tools from
Absoft Corporation,
including MacFortran II, Absoft F77 SDK, and Pro Fortran.
|
|
Versatility
|
MIG-Pro provides a set of useful tools for scientists,
engineers, and others requiring data visualization
capabilities in conjunction with Fortran programs,
while still retaining the power required
by an applications developer.
|
|
Control
|
MIG-Pro's unique features include pixel-by-pixel
control of the graphics window through a comprehensive
set of user callable drawing routines. Nearly every
aspect of the graphic can be customized including orientation,
scaling, labels, coordinate systems, text placement, etc.
Number of colors, fonts, screen and printer resolutions are
limited only by the hardware available.
|
|
Immediate Results
|
MIG-Pro allows immediate data visualization - without
leaving the application environment. In addition,
MIG-Pro can dynamically plot each data point as it
is calculated instead of waiting for the entire
data set to be generated; this feature may
be used to aid understanding of wireframe and other
complex models.

|
Easy to Use
|
Many new routines automatically create
2D plots and graphs according to your specifications.
Graphics can be exported via the clipboard or saved
directly to disk in PICT format.
